I am worried that I have made the wrong decision in regards to signing up for the medical transcription course through Penn Foster. The school so far as been really great with questions and all of that good stuff my problem is that I am just now finding out that their course is not one of the approved schools from the American Association for Medical Transcriptionist. I'm concerned that I am paying all of this money for a course that will be worthless. Perhaps I can cancel out that course and switch over to something else that I have personal interest in and want to gain more knowledge in for my own use. It's worth looking into at least.
On another topic my children will be very happy next week - for Valentine's Day they will be getting Dora the Explorer VSmile cartridge. It has an estimated arrival time of the 12th so that should give enough time to ship out. The downer is that I also ordered the Winnie the Pooh one (that one for Gwenie) and it isn't shipping out yet... At least they will both be thrilled with it.
Ok that's probably more then enough tired ramblings for the night. I should be off now to get some sleep - perhaps for once I will be able to sleep through the night. That would be really awesome.

Cranky rambling
Ok so I admit it I am Cranky! Yes Cranky with a capitol C. Some days I would just love to get a little bit of peace and quiet to study. Which is why I am in the process of taking over our third bedroom (formerly the bird room) as my home office/study, whichever term you prefer. What is the difference in terms, anything meaningful? According to dictionary.com the term study means a room, in a house or other building, set apart for private study, reading, writing, or the like while home office means a work or office space set up in a person's home and used exclusively for business on a regular basis. So I guess mine qualifies for mostly for a study but somewhat a home office provided I get the whole medical transcriptionist thing going as I am hoping to be able to.

Happy Birthday Mom
Ok so I know it's way early - 5 months to early actually, however look who's arrived!
Cha Cha Cheech (the Jenday conure) and Freedom (Freedom the parakeet) They have been cagemates for a long time now and enjoy snuggling. I can't wait for Mom to meet them, Cheech is such a snuggler and he loves to preen
my hair and snuggle in.

Quick thoughts
Is it just me or does it seem that the older you get the quicker a year goes by? I can still remember it being April and wondering if we were going to be getting orders any time soon and now it's Jan 2007 and we've already moved twice! Although the new house is way better then the old one.
Our new town is full of cool places to go.
