The red coats are coming!

In honor of the 225th anniversary here is a re-enactment at Endview Plantation. I just loved this picture of the drummers, somewhere on the field you could hear pipers as well. I have so many more pictures I just am not sure what to post. I also got a few tiny little video's as well. To bad you could hear people talking over the batttle. Posted by Picasa

BoBolicious

Gigi seems to think that Beau is her's. We've had several discussions over it but so far it isn't sinking in. They've become great playmates since she decided to not be afraid of him. She wears him out so quickly - she's also taken to packing him around the house.

Visiting Dixie

Here we are on Sunday afternoon visiting with Dixie. I can't wait to be able to bring her home! She is so tiny - a couple of days ago she weighed only 1 lb! When she's fully grown they're only estimating that she's going to be 7 lbs. She has the tiniest little nose and little half "gloves" on the paws. More pictures soon. Posted by Picasa

Ronald & Me

Here's Gigi with Ronald McDonald. Gwenie didn't want to go see the scary man with in the yellow suit. They both enjoyed seeing the Ronald McDonald road show though. Posted by Picasa

Playing around with PSP

Here I am yet again playing around with PSP - working on some photos to put in a digital scrapbook page. I hated all of the distracting stuff in the background and I really just wanted to focus on sweet Mags. I like the way it turned out except for the beak - have to work on that. Posted by Picasa

Pet bird sunday

Today I was finally able to attend my first meeting of the VA Peninsula Caged Bird Society . I feel more then a little guilty about having gone though since the girls were sick last night, enough that John and I slept on the floor in their room. But I did have a really good time with the raffels and everything. It's nice to belong to a club again.

Queen?

Here she is lookling Queenly already - hmm I sense some competition in the future. I can't wait to see her once she is full grown. She's already spectacular at only four months old. Hmm maybe now I can sweet talk hubby into a military for me... Posted by Picasa
